ten recognized fitness domains:
Cardio-Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy
We achieve this by practicing and training major lifts, such as the deadlift, squat, press, clean & jerk, and snatch. We also include basic body weight movements, such as pull ups, dips, rope climbs, push ups, sit-ups and even handstands. At Snake River CrossFit, you will not find many machines, instead, open space to row, run, jump, swing kettle bells, and throw.
Don’t worry if some of these movements look unfamiliar to you. All workouts are universally scaleable, meaning someone without any fitness background can complete the same workout as an elite athlete. When the clock starts, we all work together, but our loads, repetitions and intensity may differ depending on needs and fitness levels. Our diverse community includes fire fighters, police officers, full time mothers, accountants, medical professionals, elite athletes, business executives, students, and grandparents.
